FUNAAB 101 is built to help students find useful information and use practical tools. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the website.
Last updated: September 2026About FUNAAB 101
FUNAAB 101 is an independent, student-made platform providing information, resources and practical tools for students and prospective students.
FUNAAB 101 is not the official website of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), and is not presented as an official university service.
Files you use with our tools
Some parts of FUNAAB 101 allow you to select files from your device to perform tasks such as compressing PDFs, converting images to PDF, compressing images, merging PDFs, splitting PDFs and converting PDF pages to images.
The current FUNAAB 101 file tools process selected files locally in your web browser. FUNAAB 101 does not intentionally upload or store those selected files on its own servers.
When processing is complete, the resulting file is made available to you through your browser.
Because processing happens on your device, very large files may depend on your device's available memory, browser and processing power.

Marketplace accounts and listings
Browsing does not require an account. If you create a marketplace account, we store your name, email address, password hash and a hash of your recovery code. Seller applications and saved drafts include a legal name, contact number, identity review notes, shop name, categories, location, pickup point and service area. Identity review notes and legal names are private to you and the administrator; do not submit NIN, BVN or identity-document images. We store your saved items and optional delivery addresses privately in your account. The cart stores product IDs and quantities in your browser. When email verification is configured, Resend processes your email address to deliver a verification code. Codes expire after 15 minutes and are stored as keyed hashes. Authenticator secrets are encrypted; your account records verification status and completed manual review details. Shop details and approved product descriptions, prices and photos are public; account emails and seller contact numbers are available to the administrator for account and application review. Authentication cookies last up to seven days. Hashed network identifiers help limit repeated requests. Seller agreement records include the typed name, terms version and text, application version and acceptance time. Deleting a product removes it from the public marketplace and the seller’s active collection; its record, photos and previous versions remain private to administrators for moderation, security and dispute handling while needed for those purposes, subject to applicable law. Deletion from the catalogue does not automatically erase these records. Account and listing information are stored in our database and uploaded photos in our file storage; contact DIAMII through the contact information below to request correction or deletion. Payments are not currently enabled, and the marketplace does not collect card or bank details.
Marketplace messages
Product conversations store the participants, product details at the start of the chat, messages, attached photos, read status and block settings. These records are private to the participants. If either participant reports a conversation, administrators can review its messages and photos and retain a moderation outcome. Messages are kept when a product is removed to support moderation and dispute handling. Contact DIAMII to request correction or deletion. Do not send passwords, security codes, identity documents or payment credentials through chat.
Department group submissions
When an HOC submits group links, we store their name, contact number, verification information, department, academic session and proposed links for administrator review. Contact and verification details are not published. Approved group links and their academic sessions are public; previous approved links remain available as earlier versions. We retain requests and review notes for moderation and use hashed network and contact identifiers to limit repeated submissions. Contact DIAMII using the details below to request a correction or deletion. Do not submit identity documents or passwords in the HOC form.
Website analytics and WhatsApp support
We use Google Analytics to understand page visits and website usage. Google may process device, browser and network information and use analytics cookies. Our page-view configuration excludes URL query strings and fragments. When you choose WhatsApp support, WhatsApp opens with an editable message identifying the page you need help with. Nothing is sent until you send the message in WhatsApp.
