Don't copy an old fresher's checklist blindly. Registration, medical screening, fees, orientation and accommodation procedures can change by session. FUNAAB publishes current instructions through its portal and official channels.

Check your JAMB CAPS status and keep your admission letter and important credentials safe.

Sort transport, accommodation, basic documents, finances and a realistic first-week plan.

✓Admission letter and JAMB details.

✓O'Level result/certificate details and required credentials.

✓Passport photographs in the format currently requested.

✓Payment references/receipts for transactions you actually make.

✓Copies of important documents, plus secure digital backups.

✓Enough everyday essentials for your first days — don't overpack before you know your accommodation situation.

Medical registration

Health checks matter.

For the 2025/2026 session, FUNAAB published a schedule directing fresh students to collect specimen bottles from the Medical Laboratory before proceeding to the University Health Centre for required tests and physical examination.

That is an example of the process, not a promise that the next session will use the same schedule.
